18th Century Beauronne Oil Jars

About the Item

Quite rare to find 3 of these glazed terra cotta jars, they were made in Beauronne/Périgord region/Southwest of France during the 18th century, bought them from a French collector who had them for more than 40 years in his collection. dimensions are 47/40/35 cm high x 42/32/35 cm deep and 43/34/32 cm wide, used for the well known walnut oil from this region near the Dordogne river, wonderful distressed patina. highly decorative objects.
