19th Century Spanish Glazed and Painted Terracotta Wine Jar

This antique pottery wine bottle was created in Spain circa 1880; made of terracotta with a dark beige glaze and hand painted motifs, the jug is round in shape with tall neck. The large wine holder is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with a rich light brown patinated finish. Scattered loss around bottom rim. Measures: 13" diameter 22" height.
