About the Item
Unique piece by the Danish ceramist Poul E. Eliasen. Like Piet Hein's favourite shape this lidded jar is super-elliptical. The modernist hand-glazed decor are inspired by ancient cultures symbols and typography. The main color is light olive green and the inside is glazed as well. Poul E. Eliasen has had several exhibition around the world - predominantly in Scandinavia. Eliasen was educated at Herman A. Kähler in Næstved, Denmark from 1968-1976.
