19th C. French Empire Tole Pedestal Jardiniere Cachepot Urn With Bronze Swans
About the Item
A gorgeous antique 19th Century French Empire style dark navy blue and gilt tole pedestal jardiniere or cachepot. This fine jardiniere has a hand painted Neoclassical landscape vignette on one side and a gilt torch and laurel wreath on the other side. It has a lovely shape accented with a gilt garland border and adorned with gilt bronze swan handles. It would look stunning as a cache pot displayed on a console or side table or in a library.
