19th Century French Copper Planter on Integral Three-Leg Wrought Iron Stand

About the Item

This large antique copper planter was crafted in France, circa 1880. Round in shape and dressed with iron side handles, the large decorative cache pot stands on three forged iron cabriole legs ending with scroll feet, and joined with a bottom stretcher. The tall free standing planter is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated brass finish. It could also be used as an elegant champagne or wine cooler. Weight 35 pounds. Measures: 18"W x 13"D x 36"H.
