About the Item

A large Terracotta jar / urn / planter from Bali, Indonesia, contemporary. Beautifully glazed in mottled green, resembling a watercolor with its different tones and shades throughout the piece. Today, Thailand's artisans carry the tradition aided by better kilns and more diverse glazing techniques, keeping the handcrafting tradition alive while incorporating contemporary design. This superb jar is 20" high, 19.5" in diameter, with the top and bottom measuring 14". Can be used indoors or outdoors.
