French Green Glazed Terracotta Pottery Vase or Cache Pot
About the Item
A terracotta earthenware pot from the Southwest of France with mottled green glaze. Minor chips and some rough unglazed patches. These ordinary earthenware vessels were once used daily in the French country home and have beautiful rustic glazes of green, ochre and terracotta. Nice decorative elements especially when several sizes and shapes are grouped together. Please refer to photos for more details, circa 1900-1910
