Cache-Pot Napoleon 3rd Style Made by Christofle

About the Item

Cache-pot made of pompeian green patinated bronze with decorations of fauns and gold mercury details. Made by Charles Christofle (1805-1863), in the 19th century, Napoleon 3rd style. Signed CHRISTOFLE ET CIE ORFEVRES. Its factory was inaugurated in 1830 and is currently one of the most important tabletop silverware factories in France. France, Circa 1890.
