A magnificent Large Hand Chased & Enameled Egyptomania Brass Jardinière/Planter from Egypt, after the 1930s, a period following the historic discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb by Howard Carter. This extraordinary piece stands at an impressive 17 inches in height and boasts a generous 19-inch diameter.
The jardinière features a continuous rolled rim adorned with intricately pierced scrolled vines, while its center showcases a breathtaking and meticulously crafted pictorial landscape. This landscape is a visual feast, teeming with imagery that pays homage to Egypt's rich history and culture. Among the intricate engravings and enamel, depictions of birds, flowers, deer, deities, camels, oxen, elephants, three iconic pyramids, lush palm trees, regal Pharaohs, the enigmatic Sphinx, and various Egyptian symbols.
