Large Scale Mid Century Boho Salt Glazed Stoneware Jardinière Planter Pot
About the Item
A superb large scale Mid Century Salt Glazed Stoneware Jardinière Planter Pot in a beautiful earthy colourway. Of good form and scale, this is a lovely statement piece, featuring earthy brown, greens, hues of reds and off-white glazing.
A highly decorative piece, the shape is also interesting, with quite a small base that balloons quickly to large diameter and then returns to sizeable top lip. The piece has lovely Crazing to the glazing which points to its age.
The item is in good solid condition, there is a crack (as pictured) from the top edge which extends to approx. 5″ long but it feels solid and is structurally sound. The aged patina and crack really does add to its decorative appeal. Overall size as stated, top internal opening measures 35.5cm / 14″
