Pietre Trovanti transforms stone offcuts into handcrafted design and applied art objects. We enhance untamed and irregular remnants pursuing a vision inspired by nature – each ending sparks a new beginning – in a radical, poetic way. The collections involve collaborations with designers, artists and local artisans, the invigorating spirit of this project. Pietre Trovanti is based in Ossola, Piedmont, Italy. UNREPEATABLE Stone offcuts cannot be used in a scheme of serial production and require experience, appropriate craftsmanship and specific attention to design. Our collections are objects worked by hands that take into account what each stone inspires and can become. Once created, each piece is unrepeatable in shape, size, weight, colour, texture, and the presence of minerals and their signs. Each is uniquely different from all the others, even those belonging to the same series and type. Pietre Trovanti creations are like snowflakes: they can be traced back to the same source but are always different, perfect in their irregularity.
