Pair of French Empire Louis XVII Giltwood Marble Topped Jardinière Bust Stands
About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of French Empire style gold giltwood with marble tops Jardine stands
A very good looking and decorative pair, original designed in the smaller context for plants, they can of course be used for taxidermy, busts and so on
These are French Empire style so have elements of the Egyptian revival heads to the top of the pillars and feet to the base. The metal work is all gold gilt and has a wonderful patina
We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they are vintage pieces so will have signs of wear and use all over
