Rare Robert Maxwell & David Cressey Planter for Earthgender

About the Item

Rare Robert Maxwell & David Cressey Small Planter or Vase for Earthgender. Studio executed in hand thrown and designed textured earthenware. A very clean example from the short-lived and increasingly coveted Earth Gender design collective that only produced pottery for a few glorious years in the early 1970s in Venice, California. Drilled, structurally sound and highly presentable. Hand signed on the bottom. Some age appropriate scuffs, nicks, marks, discoloration and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Two small shallow rim chips that are discretely placed and in no way affects the overall good presentation of the piece.
