Chinese export silver teapot or kettle on a stand decorated with butterflies by Leeching.. The surface of the teapot has chased and applied butterflies and floral decoration. Leeching is well listed maker from Canton and Shanghai. The teapot is marked "LC" on the bottom with a Chinese mark. The assembled height to the handle is 13", 8 3/4" deep and 7 1/8" wide weight 38.7 troy ounces.
