Pair of Massive Doulton of Llondon RMS Shipping Stoneware Alcohol Jars

About the Item

Massive pair of royal doulton jars with lids which are stamped. Made during the second world war, bearing the date 17.03.41. We beleive these to have been made for the rms during the war to carry alcohol. They are each a four man lift empty, so full they would have had to have been winched into location. Stunning decorative items that could be adapted into a modern purpose or enjoyed as they are. Small chips to lids with restorations, but rare to have the lids at all.
