Sevres Urn 19 Th Century with Gilt Bronze Mounts and Gilt Masks, Hand Painted
About the Item
This porcelain is 19th century and hand painted on a Snow White
Ground depicting a beautiful woman bending forward with
Hands cupped with water offering a drink to a petite angel.
She is dressed in pale lavender and white robes. A flowing
Stream and waterfall are depicted in the background.
It is signed by the artist H. Grisard. It is painted on the reverse
Side depicting an angel with a child in lavender, pink and green
Hues. No restorations to the porcelain. Gilt bronze masks
Decorate the sides and it is supported by a gilt bronze base
And topped with an ornate finial the gilding is bright in a light
Gold hue.
