The decorations on this cup were meticulously crafted using the art of "disegno a fuoco," a technique involving the use of special Murano glass enamels and 24kt gold. What makes this cup truly special is that its designs are inspired by the intricate anctique Bizatine mosaic found in the ancient Chiesa di San Dona in Murano, dating back to the 1400s.
