19th Century Italian Marble Vase Decorated with an Eagle, C.1890
About the Item
Antique late 19th century Italian marble vase, this fine white marble sculpted in the late 1800's and maticulously hand chisled to create an impressive baroque work of art. Decorated throughout with foleage, exotic birds, fruits and an unusual metomorphic female figure becoming an eagle. This superb vase adds elegance and sophistication to any interior, working well in a traditional, mid-century or even modern setting and oozes timeless quality.
CONDITION
In Good Condition - some restorations have taken place. Please refer to photographs.
