American silver sedan chair-form vase, Durgin Division of Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, RI, 1931 The front and back cast and chased as doors decorated with floral sprays and oval windows enclosing the bust of a maiden, the sides applied with door handles and the front and back with long horizontal handles, on four scroll supports and with openwork scroll rim, underside with initial E, gilt interior, marked on base. With electroplated cover.
