Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Flambe-Glazed Hu Porcelain Vase, 1850
About the Item
A good antique Chinese flambe-glazed Qing dynasty Hu shaped porcelain vase, circa 1850.
The Hu shaped vase having a reddy aubergine colored flambe-glazed body, the rim and foot having a lighter color with flashes of purple to the center of the vase.
The vase is raised on a gently flared foot with a crackle glaze to the base, condition is excellent, do damage, restoration or condition issues.
Provenance; From an important Californian collection of Chinese porcelain.
