Antique Chinese Republic Era Ornately Hand-Painted Vase or Table Lamp Base
About the Item
This antique and intricately hand-painted vase is signed on the base, but we were unable to identify the maker, but originates from China and dates to approximately 1920 and done in a Chinese Export style. The vase, which was once a lamp base, is done with a cream ground with vibrant colored leaves and flowers that surround two vignettes or male warriors. The base does have a maker`s mark, but given the placement of the hole, we could not identify the specific factory or maker.
