Antique Japanese Geisha Yellow Cloisonne Enamel Vase

About the Item

An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, enamel over copper vase. The urn shaped vase is adorned with a polychrome image of a Geisha lady in a traditional costume against a bright yellow background made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck is decorated with a geometrical pattern made in the same technique. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. OVERALL GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. SIGNS OF AGE AND WEAR. CRACKS AND DAMAGE IN THE CLOISONNE.
