Reference:
Rosa Barovier-Mentasti, Anzolo Fuga, murano glass artist, designs for A.V.E.M., Acanthus press 2005, section titled "Pavone" (“Peacock”) starts with a description of the series on page 97 with multiple examples on pages 98-112.
Provenance:
Evan Lobel purchased this piece directly from A.V.E.M. in 2001 as part of a large collection of pieces stored there from the 1950’s and 60’s.
