Art Deco Black Glass Vase with Silver Overlay Decor, France 1930s
About the Item
This lovely 1930s French Art Deco black glass vase features a silver deposit decoration all around with geometric patterns. Please note that although usually named "black glass," the exact color of the glass material of these typical Art Deco pieces is an intense amethyst purple color. There is no visible maker's mark.
The vase is in fine original condition with some rubbing and age wear. A tiny air bubble is on the surface on the side. Check the close-up.
Measurements: 4.75 in diameter (12 cm) x 8.69 in high (22 cm).
