Art Nouveau Laignelet Pink Glass Vase, 20th Century
About the Item
Vase from the Verrerie de Laignelet, signed 'Laignelet' in polychrome glass, with a pink background and a panoramic scene of the Brittany region with its characteristic regional houses.
La Verrerie de Laignelet was created in 1908 by H. Chupin who founded the Société Anonyme des Verreries de Laignelet. The glassworks ceased all activity on March 3, 1934. All that remains are the living quarters, the workshop, the canteen and the chapel built in the 1920s.
