Chinese Imari Style Orange, Blue and Green Vase with Ladies in Landscapes
About the Item
A Chinese vintage Imari style palace vase from the mid-20th century, with scalloped top, orange, blue and green décor as well as people, architecture and landscape motifs. Created in China during the Midcentury period, this Imari style palace vase features a scalloped top (with an opening of 4" diameter), sitting above an exquisite blue, orange, gold and green décor. On one side, an elegant woman dressed with an ornate flowing robe is holding a fan in her left hand and is gracefully raising her right hand to her face. She is protected under an umbrella carried by her servant. In the distance, a building is surrounded by a mountainous landscape. On another side, an elegant lady is looking backwards at a small carriage supporting a large vase with foliage and flowers. With its lovely colors and delicate décor, this vintage Imari style palace vase will bring an undeniable touch of elegance to any home decor, perhaps anchoring an enfilade, a commode or a side table.
