Contemporary Wedge Vessel in Paper Pulp and Pigment

About the Item

Designer Sarah Murphy focuses on recycling materials and a form of paper pulp to create sculptural vessels and lights. Drawn to playful shapes and vibrant colors, these lamps are meant to bring lightness into a space. The pieces are a balance between functionality, art, and design. Although it appears to be a ceramic material, the base structure is created primarily from recycled materials. The exterior is built up with a paper pulp epoxy material and coated with a high pigment ultramarine matte paint. The interior of the vessel is sealed with a polyurethane, the exterior is not sealed. We do not recommend filling with water, unless using a glass insert Materials: Cardboard, plastic, foam, paper pulp, acrylic paint, polyurethane Available Colors/Finishes or customizations: Wide range of color options & customizations Additional info: The box is included in the price.
