contemporary white ceramic vase inspired in Miró - ZERO serie - obj01, brazil

About the Item

This vase is part of the zero series, in which the objects are contemporary, sculptural and functional inspired by Joan Miró's paintings. These are pieces that celebrate the beauty of irregularities printed by the manual process, which become tacit elements of the piece, full of history and personality. This vase obj01 are made to order, measuring approximately 12x12x30cm (measurement may vary slightly), although its production is continuous, the details of its shape will never be the same as the previous piece, thus configuring it as a unique object. The obj01 features conventional lines, such as rectangles and circles, playing with simple shapes to create a beautiful and curious object through its simplicity. It serves as a plant vase and also as a sculpture that can be used upside down or lying flat, making it a fun and versatile item. The piece was modeled using the slab building technique, with the pattern designs drawn with natural black clay (engobe). The entire body is coated with a translucent glaze and it was fired at high temperatures (1250 degrees).
