This vase has been handmade in Barcelona by niho Ceramics. niho is Nicole Hofmann a ceramicist who throws her pieces on the wheel in her pottery studio in Sant Pere de Ribes just south of Barcelona, Spain. She uses white stoneware clay that she fires to 1240 degrees Celsius and an electric blue satin matte glaze. Every vase starts as a cylinder that she then deforms in order to achieve her particular organic shapes. No two pieces are the same as they all have their unique twist. niho Ceramics' s pieces are dishwasher safe and durable for everyday use.
