This green emerald and amber Murano glass vase jumping Horse is more than a vase, a is a splendid sculpture! For a horse lovers this master piece on a top of a consol in your entry will be an eye catcher As you see in the picture number 8 the leg of the horse was broken in the past and fixed by uv certainly at the same time. The photos have been grown and taken in several positions so that you can see. This is really not annoying and does not spoil the exceptional beauty of the object . This visible sign of previous use has no structural issues or instability as the vase is the main center. For me it is a minor cosmetic wear regarding it age and as you see in the situation once in the decor no one will not notice it even you ! Silvano Signoretto began to form at the age of eight in the oven of the unforgettable master glassmaker Alfredo Barbini. After acquiring the basics of glass manufacturing, he began working in the renowned workshops of Gino Cenedese, F.lli Cattelan and Renato Mazzega, among others. In 1989 he started working for Salviati & Co., where he collaborates with artist Heinz Ostegard, Alessandro Mendini and Berit Johansson. When Salviati & Co. merged with Venini in 1990, Silvano created the "Leonardo horse", a metal structure with glass inside, originally built as a computer rendered by Ben Jakober and Yannik Hu and presented at the 45th Venice biennial. It was here that he began to cooperate with important designers such as Professor De Lai. Later, while performing his art at the Seguso Vetri d'Arte, he worked hand in hand with the great master Angelo Seguso for the designer Mario Rigatieri. Since then, Signoretto's great sensitivity and capacity for interpretation have been sought after by renowned painters and sculptors such as Gigi Marcazzan, Antonella COSTA, Ginny Ruffner, David Palterer, Fulvio Bianconi, Ugo La Pietra, Peter Shire, Ron Arad Guglielmo Renzi, Luigi Ontani and many others. Born in Murano in 1948, Silvano Signoretto began to train at the age of eight, in the furnace of the unforgettable glass maestro Alfredo Barbini. After learning the craftsmanship of glassmaking he started working in the renowned glass houses of Gino Cenedese, F.lli Cattelan, and Renato Mazzega among the others. Then he began to cooperate with important designers like professor De Lai. Silvano Signoretto not only excels in the production of vases, mirrors and chandeliers, he puts his art at the service of the greatest international plastic artists and designers and collaborates with the house Venini, before devoting himself definitively to his own creations. Today, a world-renowned artist, he is exhibited in major international galleries.
