French Saint Louis Tall Crystal Medicis Vase, in the Style of Baccarat

About the Item

A classic cut crystal Medici-style vase by Saint Louis, its lower section cut in large-faceted diamond points, its upper section elegantly fluted. The vase stands on a substantial square base, cut in a star design. The shape of this vase was inspired by ancient Florentine marbles, and reflects the popularity of the neoclassical style, which was so fashionable during the 19th century.
