Gary Genetti Blown Cameo Glass Antelope Vase, Etched Overlay, 2008 Offered for sale is a cameo glass blown, etched and overlay glass "Antelope" vase by Gary Genetti. The vase is signed and dated 2008 by the artist on the underside art the base. Nationally known artist, Gary Genetti, uses skillful blowing and intricate pressure engraving to create contemporary classics in art glass. He works within a developed tradition of Decorative Art by depicting natural subjects such as animals and floral motifs combined with geometric patterns on vessel forms. Presented not only in art galleries and prestigious craft venues such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show and the Smithsonian Craft Show, his work is featured in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC.
