Hand-Painted Gilded Art Nouveau Bonn Royal Worcester Vase with Floral Motif

About the Item

This beautiful Art Nouveau vase was created at the height of Art Nouveau by Royal Worcester- the oldest and most illustrious porcelain producer in England. It is composed of a tapered cylindrical form in bone porcelain with an abundance of wildflowers- mauve morning glories, royal Blue Angel's Eyes, pale purple New England Asters, and lemon hued cymbidiums- fastidiously hand-painted by artisans. The piece also features a demilune handle in organically textured gilded porcelain that culminates in two horizontal bands also rendered in 24-karat gold. This would make a gorgeous vase for presenting flowers, or an objet d'art atop an occasional table. Excellent condition. Inscribed on the bottom "Royal Worcester England." England, circa 1900 Dimensions: 6.75" height x 3.5" diameter.
