As graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, he worked with Ca' Pesaro artists and exhibited at Ca' Pesaro in 1908. In the 1920s he was appointed as Director of the Murano glass Museum. In 1925 he founded Venini & Co. with Paolo Venini and others, of which he took over the artistic direction. His creations of animals, fruits and succulent plants gained international success too. The Cenedese Glassworks , Seguso Vetro d'Arte and Pauly & Co were his last creative stations.
