Handmade Danish Midcentury Søholm Vase by Einar Johansen, Denmark

About the Item

Vase made at the Scandinavian Søholm pottery on the Island of Bornholm by Einer Johanson. The island of Bornholm is the most Eastern point of Denmark and the Søholm pottery is one of the tree if not the most famous and well-known vase maker in Denmark still with very limited and hard to find items. The vase is made of clay with a wonderful glaze and a mix of brown and blue colors. The vase is signed, numbered and given the Søholm stamp at the bottom. Tags. Einar Johansen Soholm. Art E.
