French Deco Art Glass Vase Signed Jean Michel Operto

About the Item

Unique and sophisticated, this Art Deco style vase is crafted of hand-blown glass and hand-decorated. This piece would enhance any setting. The creation has stunning lines along its tapered and curved surface. The lines accentuate its elongated silhouette and movements. Created in the glassworks studio in Biot, France by Jean Michel Operto. Fine contemporary design. Very good quality, and wonderfully decorative. Signed. Measures: 13 7/8" High x 5 3/4" Diameter About the Glassworks Artist: At the age of 14, inspired by his uncle, a glassblower, he learned the trade in a renowned glassworks. In 1995 he created his own workshop by being the designer and creator of his own works. During workshop visits, he often explained all the steps of the manufacturing of a vase, with inlay of gold leaf.
