Extraordinary Japanese contemporary museum-quality decorative vase, a masterpiece intricately hand-painted on a rectangular body of the finest Arita porcelain, which provides the perfect canvas for a subtly gilded field of chrysanthemums in full bloom. The graceful blossoms are set against a beautiful salmon pink background elegantly gilded with golden spots that come to life with the shifting light.
The subtle blue underglaze gradation that appears on each and every petal is a testament to the artist's attention to detail. This stunning attention to details extends even to the bottom of the vase, where the artist's signature appears inside a double-gourd shape that is set against a field of intricate geometric patterns.
