Exquisite contemporary Japanese ovoid porcelain vase, intricately hand-painted in pink, red, cream, blue and gold on a stunningly shaped porcelain body, a signed masterpiece by highly acclaimed award-winning master porcelain artist in polychrome overglazed enameling in the Imari-Arita region of Japan with over 400 years of producing exquisite porcelain pieces. This artist has perfected polychrome overglazed technique to create porcelain pieces with stunning colors and flowers coming alive. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards for his unique and exceptional work and his contributions to this centuries old art.
The artist's signature style is a refreshing interpretation of the traditional polychrome overglazed enameling. He has a close relationship with nature creating awe-inspiring landscapes on porcelain. His painstaking “drip painting" technique is designed to bring a subtly raised, three-dimensional feel to flowers expressed in bold vibrant colors coming alive.
This exceptional porcelain vase depicts stunning highly detailed cosmos flowers in cream and captivating shades of pink, red, cream and blue, on a refreshing grass-green background accentuating this breathtaking scenery that reveals itself through clouds in deep blue with gold details. The rim of this piece are decorated with a delicate blue and white underglaze patterns.
This striking hand-painted vase porcelain comes in a custom-made wooden case signed by the artist.
