Large Pair 19th Century Sevres Style Vases
About the Item
A very impressive pair of late 19th Century French Sevres style porcelain vases, each with wonderful scrolling gilded ormolu handles with classical female mask mounts. The vases having cobalt blue ground with inset hand painted panels depicting mythological scenes of Neptune, Venus and her companions, dolphins and putti. The reverse with scenes of Greek ruins. Both raised on sockel bases.
