Mid-Century Spindel Planter by Willy Guhl for Eternit Brazil, c. 1970

About the Item

Large hourglass-shaped planters model "Spindel", part of a line of garden pieces designed by Swiss Willy Guhl and produced by Eternit Brasil in the 1970s. These series of fiber cement garden pieces were produced to test the resistance of this material for civil construction. The items became icons. We have in our collection two units of the planters model "Spindel".
