About the Item
This Minton vase is from their Secessionist ware range and is decorated with the pattern number 10. The pattern is outlined by tube lining then filled with majolica glazes, in this case red, olive green and white. The shape number is 3747 which is a fairly rare shape, and was introduced in around 1904. Introduced in 1902 and designed by John Wadsworth and Leon Solon, Minton Secessionist ware range was Minton's tube lined Art Nouveau range of the period preceding World War 1. This vase stands 288 mm (11 inches) high and has a diameter of 105 mm (4 inches). It is in very good condition.
