About the Item
A pair of large 19th Century Chinese "Three Friends of Winter" pear shaped vases in pink & white.
A pear shaped body 'yuhuchunping' with a sweeping slender waisted neck and flared rim. Freely painted in a rare pink with an inky wash. Depicting the three friends of Winter Pine, Bamboo and Prunus trees.
The neck is decorated with a band of acanthus leaves.
Excellent condition free from chips or cracks.
A beautiful pair.
