Pair of Antique Art Nouveau Green Austrian Vases with Gilt Metal Mounts
About the Item
This pair of antique deep green art glass vases with gilt metal mounts are unsigned but presumed to have been made in Austria in circa 1900 in the period Art Nouveau style. The vases are done in a deep rich green which are framed by the bright gold gilt finish of the metal. The open swirled serpentine handles provide a flowing design feature to the vases which finish with a bold central crown motif decoration on the base of the gilt finished mount.
