About the Item
Pair of antique ormulu gilt bronze mounted ceramic vases. The vases are baluster in form with wonderful moulded and painted floral decoration in relief.
Condition: There are chips and nics with losses of finish to the porcelain vases. The gilt finish around the foot is also heavily worn. The ormulu gilt bronze mounts also have breaks and losses, notably to the handle of one.
Wear is commensurate with age and handling but overall despite wear the pair presents handsomely.
