Pair of Flower Vases Legras signed, budgie bird decor, glass enamel, 1920 France

About the Item

Very nice pair of flower vases, made in the Art Deco period, around 1920, from the famous verrerie Legras in France. The two vases have a cubic raised shape and have a special pastel color throughout. The vases are decorated with quality handmade enamel painting. The vases each have two wonderfully designed budgie birds - a couple facing each other. They are framed in the background by a particularly naturalistic bamboo decoration. There is a signature JAM on the side of a vase. Measurements approx, each: height 10,24 in - 26 cm, diameter 4,33 in - 11 cm These two pieces are in ready to use condition. It is wonderful and rare that both of the pair's vases still exist. The design is a special decor and particularly rare.
