About the Item

Listing Reserved for Corrado. 1) Gorgeous early Venetian hand blown "Fumé" 4 spout Italian art glass oil lamp / vase. Created in the manner of the Salviati Dott. and Artisti Barovier. The piece has a beautiful fluted shape, with ruffled rim and rigaree decoration on the neck. Each spout has a shell decoration at the bottom. Measures: 10 3/4" tall x 4" wide. 2) Rare, antique Venetian Murano hand blown blue Italian art glass flower vase with sea serpent decoration in gold flecks. Attributed to designer Giulio Salviati, from the last quarter of the 19th century. The piece has a gold ruffled rim, with little spots of blue making up the color of the vase. I have photographed the piece on a black background so you can see the gold leaf used on it. Measures 8 1/2" tall. 3) Unusual antique Murano, Venetian style green sea serpent Italian art glass flower vase. The piece is published (see last photo), and documented to the Fratelli Toso Company, model 6011. Dates to the 1920s. The vase has a crimped rim, with listing serpent coiled around it. Measures: 7" tall. 4) Rare antique early Venetian green, with gold leaf Italian art glass sea serpent or dragon vase. Attributed to the Salviati Dott. Company, mid-1800s. Covered in gold leaf throughout. Very well detailed snake / sea serpent. Collectors item! Measures: 8 1/2" tall. 5) Very rare antique Venetian handblown opalescent and gold flecks "Girasol" Italian art glass flower vase. The piece is made of a Pegasus horse as the main body, opening into a cornucopia, with gold seahorse attached. Attributed to the Salviati company, although also noted in the book "Exquisite Glass Ornaments - The 19th-century Murano glass revival in the de Boss-Smith collection", similar ones were created by Testolini. It has a ruffled rim, with a net pattern of gold leaf throughout. Measures 13 1/4" tall. Minor structural damages. For accuracy, there is an internal fracture to the lower part of the Pegasus body, made during the cooling process. Does not affect stability or display. Also, the end of the seahorse tail has a nick (see lLU974112720741). 6) Beautiful and rare, vintage Murano handblown black Italian art glass big horn ram head sculpture with red swirls. Created for Cartier, signed underneath, and blown by the Vetreria Archimede Seguso glass company, circa 1970-1980. The piece would make a great gift for the Aries (zodiac) in your family. Measures 6 1/2" tall. 7) Gorgeous vintage Murano hand blown, white and gold flecks with grape decoration Italian art glass compote bowl / vase. Documented to Ercole Barovier for the Barovier e Toso company, circa 1930s-1940s. Profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. The rim and the edge of the base has added pasta glass. Art Deco - Midcentury era. Measures: 9" long x 6" tall.
