Goblet-shape with fine stem pair of vases designed by Gunnar Ander for Lindshamar Glassbruk. They feature an exterior layer of pale pistachio shade glass with an extra thin white casing. Very light and delicate - exquisitely refined rare collectors pieces. Gunnar Ander was a prominent Swedish glass designer known for his contributions to Scandinavian glass design during the mid-20th century. Lindshammar Glassworks, where Ander worked, was one of the renowned glassworks in Sweden known for its high-quality glassware. This pair of goblet-shaped vases are exquisite examples of Ander's work. His vessel shapes were often unusual, including goblet-shaped with fine stems and spherical bowls (1957) and vases with swollen shoulders and contracted necks."
