Scandinavian Modern ceramic vase signed by Mari Simmulson for Uppsala-Ekeby. Mari Simmulson, (1911-2000) was born In St Petersburg and moved to Sweden 1944. She has been working for Wilhelm Kåge at Gustafsbergs porlinsfabrik. 1939 she left and started working for the manufacture Uppsala Ekeby.
She are well known and loved in the Nordic countrys. A vase by Mari Simmulson are more than just the beautiful and bold expression, she also wanted it to feel good in your hand as well.
This piece has an attribution mark such as a designers initials MS, a "Certificate of Authenticity".
