Do not put a lot of pressure or force on the object. deformation due to the wrong treatment can not be the reason for a refund. Every piece is hand made and each object is one and only, therefore textures such as small holes on the surface or scratches may be and this is not considered as a defective one. Do not let children swallow or play with the product. Do not submerge in the water, do rub clean with a slightly damp towel. Avoid high heat or humidity. The Oygg series This series is made using eggshells discarded from an ice cream shop and shells from Tong-yeong, Korea. There is an ice cream shop that makes gelato next to The WKND Lab’s workspace. They make ice cream based on eggs, not milk. In the process, 300 eggs are consumed every week and many shells are thrown away. Since then, based on the fact that CaCO3 is what mostly constitutes an eggshell, we got interested in oyster shells, which have the same composition- and decided to plan this Oygg series using eggshells and oyster shells. Because it is handmade, all products have diferent colors and patterns. The eggshell has a pink/orange color and the shell has a subtle grayish blue color, so if you use these to create texture, each piece will have a diferent shape and color. ______ WKND Lab, a duo designer studio founded by Eunji Jun and Halin Lee. WKND Lab’s work field varies from material research, object, to furniture design. All with material-driven narratives to tell our philosophy about relationships between design, humans, and nature.The studio pursues simple design that reflects the beautiful texture and color of the founded material. With their designed objects, they aim to introduce and deliver narratives into peoples' lifestyles, suggesting not just esthetic but also sustainable alternatives.
