Tall Pair Cenedese Vintage Mid-Century Italian Brown Speckled Murano Glass Vases
About the Item
Large, tall and rare pair 'Aventurine' Cenedese vintage Italian midcentury modern Murano glass vases, made on the island of Murano, Italy, circa 1970-1990. Particularly striking is the white speckled, dotted patches encased in brown glass with inclusions of "gold" / copper coloured specks, reminiscent of tortoise shell, which are achieved through the incorporation of copper oxides, as well as the minimalist form and large size.
These vases are new old stock and, as such, are in collectors condition. Rare opportunity to purchase a rare vase in a large size and in excellent condition. We actually have another pair in our warehouse and could offer you a set of three or four, should you wish?
A fun way to add a touch of colour / colour to your interior, imagine glass like this on open, white shelving in a kitchen, bathroom or in a display cabinet.
